There's something strangely musical - in a percussive sort of way - about the sound of a puppy missing that all-important front foot placement while navigating down a flight of stairs. Kind of a thumpity-thumpity-thump.
Don't worry, he's fine. I swear, if they could build cars out of the same material as puppies are made of, we'd never have to replace them.
Two more accidents today. He's totally silent about them. One minute he's chewing on his bone, the next there's a little present waiting on the carpet. Hopefully this is a short phase.
Ali and I got out for a nice dinner and he behaved admirably while we were gone. Having a puppy just reinforces our belief that neither of us are parental material. It's only been 4 days, and we're already looking for time away.
Lately we've worked out that I get the noon to two am shift, she gets the rest. That's why I'm sitting here typing instead of enjoying my nice new bed with my beautiful fiancee. Sigh. He'll be nodding off soon, I hope.

tramadol for pain relief A young man wrote to Mozart and said:
Q: "Herr Mozart, I am thinking of writing symphonies. Can you give me any
suggestions as to how to get started?"
A: "A symphony is a very complex musical form, perhaps you should begin with
some simple lieder and work your way up to a symphony."
Q: "But Herr Mozart, you were writing symphonies when you were 8 years old."
A: "But I never asked anybody how."
