Challenge?

Kelly threw down the Gauntlet (I loved that game! "Warrior needs food!" Ahem...) in the comments here and in an e-mail, posting a respectable 46.35108% 'Super Geek' score on this test.

I, however, weighted down with years and experience, posted a 64.2998% 'Extreme Geek'. Not that this should surprise anyone that knows me, though. Hell, even people walking by notice this quality right away.

This leaves me only two tests to go to secure my superiority. Expect results later.

And no, I would never lie about something that makes me look this socially inept.

Hmm, only 50.09862%, a super geek. I'm surprised, but I think my lack of D&D and comic book experience hurt me.

Man, I couldn't even figure out how to use the link to go take the test.

That's why we love you, Steve. :)

It's not fair. There was no check-box for "do you own a clock that displays time in binary coded decimal?"

The best part is... that clock was a gift from my Grandma!

Eric is only 19.13215%... a "geek." But he says there are plenty of things that were missing from the test that would make him more geeky. Perhaps he's more of a nerd than a geek. Geeks tend to be afraid of getting their hands dirty.

See, I agree and disagree with the tests that you sent me. The geek test, well, that's obviously canted towards the SCA/D&D/CS types. However, I couldn't even take the Nerdity test due to the fact that I have no higher education.

As for geeks not liking to get their hands dirty, I'll have you know that I've personally restored 2 classic cars so far; a '63 Impala and a '76 Jeep CJ7. I've also done the majority of the repairs on the Rover and the Toyota myself. I love getting my hands dirty.

In the end, though, I'm pretty sure that a high Geek score is not something to covet. :)

I totally disagree. I see a geek as someone with useful knowledge, with money potential. Like me. Maybe it's just potential, but it's there.

Nerds, on the other hand, memorize Star Trek blueprints.

So then, what about a dork?

listening to it as objectively as I can, vioxx I like it. Second, it was rap, and in entering ambien into a style I knew comparatively litle druglesy about, and doing it in a more or less deliberately celebrex goofy, off-the-cuff, laid-back kind of propecia way, I was able to come at it without my soma defenses up, without being as critical paxil or judgemental. It didnt have to be sublime cialis - it was fun. It didn't have to be profound tramadol - it was social.
I bring this up because zyrtec over the last several months, I've written
