Americans at War

Some things don't change.

Medic carrying wounded German prisoner, World War II

U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Marcco Ware, from Los Angeles, carries an injured Iraqi soldier who was shot three times during an attempted ambush of the 3rd Battalion, Fifth Regiment, convoy Tuesday morning in central Iraq.

Thanks, Melissa! :)

Sue, I think it's going to take time, but in the end the humanity and goodness of our soldiers will win them over. Thanks for stopping by.

I warned that Marine, they'll kick him out of the baby killers' union if he doesn't shape up.

Is there some sort of medal that young Marine is eligble for? Then again, perhaps not. He's simply doing his job the way Marines always do.

Besides, IS there an honor any greater than being able to say "I am a United States Marine"?
