Electronic crusades
Well, as happens from time to time, the Mac vs. PC wars have flared up again.
The first indication of the coming unpleasantness was a laudatory post over at Cold Fury. Now, I'm not about to take Mike to task, as I'm a firm believer in using what you like. I also know that Mike just linked to the famous Grotto 11, Mac advocacy blog. But the fact that a post came up, quoting a line like this;
You want to know what it's like to be a Mac user? Watch some guys drinking Budweiser and marveling to each other in hushed tones about its bouquet and its body and bite. Or listen to someone who drives a Civic, gushing in rapture at its horsepower and its handling.is just asking for unpleasantness.
In the interests of full disclosure: I've been in IT for almost 8 years, and the majority of that has been working with Microsoft products. This doesn't mean I like Microsoft. I just like it better than Apple.
