I Can't Feel My Legs!!!

I Can't Feel My Legs!!!

Well, I survived. How, I'm not entirely sure. Got home at 3, slept til noon, didn't really become human until 6 pm. That's my kinda party.
Started off the evening with a red ale, followed by a couple Jack and Cokes. At least, I think I only had a couple. Might have been more.

Stephen Green (VodkaPundit) - Very nice guy. The only person that I had a hope in hell of recognizing, so it's a good thing he resembles his picture. Smart, funny, and an excellent story teller. Good man to drink with, which statement probably earns me the Captain Obvious cape and decoder ring combo. Melissa, his fiancee, is also great to talk to, and, defying belief, far more beautiful than the pictures Stephen has posted. You are a truly lucky man, Stephen. I wish you both the best.

Also, Melissa and Stephen introduced me to the concept of Drinking My Way Through It(r), which I will apply to my life. It has to work better than my current methodology.

Jeff Goldstein (Protein Wisdom) - Not at all what I expected. An absolute riot to drink with, and the best left-handed arm wrestler among us. Jeff's the kind of guy that gets loud, gets right up in your face, and says exactly what he's thinking. He's also an English professor(I think. Some parts of the night are clearer than others), and the kind of teacher that I wish we had more of. Also, he owns a Rover, which gives him instant prestige in my book. And he's actually been to my site!? Blew my mind, let me tell you.

Matt Moore (The Blog of the Century of the Week) - Another nice guy. Tall, too. Seems to be a magnet for spilled beer, and has excellent, though somewhat rarified, taste in music.(Just kidding. Don't hurt me.) Closed down the bar, got lost downtown trying to find my truck, bummed smokes, what a night. Matt, if you read this, e-mail me. Or I'll e-mail you. Or something.

Andrew Olmsted(Andrew Olmsted) - Didn't talk to him as much as I would have liked to. Shot a few games, talked a little about ourselves. Good site, though. Well worth reading.

John Tabin(John Tabin) - Good guy. Helped Matt and I close down the bar, spilled beer on Matt, talked for hours about anything and everything. Still can't spell my name right, though. Regardless, if he comes back through this neck of the woods, drinking will ensue.

I'm sorry that I haven't got to everybody today. I'm tired, it's an hour to get home, and I need some sleep. I will finish this list off tomorrow. However, all the bloggers I met are getting free links, worth what you pay for them. I heartily recommend a visit to all of them.

Matt
